Morsasco is a charming village located 328 metres A.S.L with around 700 inhabitants in the Alto Monferrato territory which is made up mostly of hillside scenery. It lies only 12 km from the old roman Spa town of Acqui Terme and 15 km from Ovada. The economy is mostly agricultural where the vines, cultivated and selected for centuries by the local farmers, give rare essences to the wines among which Dolcetto d’Ovada excels.
It is here that the Priarone family offer the opportunity of appreciating specialties from a cuisine strictly respective and attentive of its traditions, preparing homemade genuine dishes from the Piemontese cuisine.
You’ll find the indications for Morsasco on the map below, situated along the main road Acqui - Ovada. The nearest motorway exit is Ovada, on the A26
(Genova - Gravellona Toce).

WHERE WE ARE
A26 - motorway exit “Alessandria Sud” (arriving from the north)
- from Alessandria - follow the S.S. 30 to Acqui Terme
- after Cassine - take first exit off ring road direction Rivalta Bormida
- turn right at the crossroads with traffic-lights, and follow for Orsara Bormida (Morsasco 6 km)
- around 1 km after the village of Orsara Bormida, take the junction on the right for Morsasco (2 km)
- turn left in the village of Morsasco by the Bar Sole&Luna a
- follow the signs for “Agriturismo La Rossa”; continue for around 2 km
A26 – motorway exit “Ovada” (arriving from the south)
- direction Acqui Terme – drive through: Ovada / Molare / Cremolino / Prasco / Morsasco
- after the motorway exit, at the first junction turn right – after the bridge right again
follow towards Acqui Terme
- proseguire in direzione Acqui Terme
- at the traffic lights turn left for Acqui / Molare – at the roundabout turn left
- continue towards Molare, drive through the village, continue straight on and you’ll arrive in Cremolino. Continue towards Prasco where you’ll drive across two railway crossings; after around 100 metres on the right you’ll see the turning for Morsasco. There are 5 km to go.
- After 2 km uphill, you’ll arrive in the village and at the main junction turn right and follow the signs for “Agriturismo La Rossa”. At all junctions you’ll see the farm’s road sign; should you not see them continue straight on. After a short piece on flatter ground the road goes uphill until your reach the riding school and the top of mount “Battagliotto”. The descent will take you to the Agriturismo which you will see on the left.
A7 – motorway exit “Novi Ligure”
- from Novi Ligure – follow direction Predosa
- follow the indications for Sezzadio / Rivalta Bormida / Orsara Bormida
- after the village of Orsara, around 1 km, take the junction for Morsasco on the right (2 km)
- in the village of Morsasco (Bar Sole&Luna), turn left
- continue for 2 km, follow the signs for: Agriturismo La Rossa. At all junctions you’ll see the farm’s signs; should you not see them continue straight on.
- After a short piece on flatter ground the road goes uphill until your reach the riding school and the top of mount “Battagliotto”. The descent will take you to the Agriturismo which you will see on the left.
